Mumbai, April 29 (NationPress) In addition to the two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra, the Indian team for the inaugural Neeraj Chopra Classic (NC Classic) 2025 javelin throw championship includes Rohit Yadav, Sachin Yadav, and Sahil Silwal. This prestigious event is scheduled for May 24 in Bengaluru.
The four Indian javelin throwers, featuring Chopra, will compete against a formidable lineup that includes Anderson Peters of Grenada, a two-time world champion, Thomas Rohler from Germany, the Rio 2016 Olympic gold medalist, and Julius Yego of Kenya, who is the 2015 world champion and Rio 2016 silver medalist. The complete list of Indian athletes participating in the NC Classic 2025 was announced by the organizers via an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Recognized as a WA ‘A’ category or Continental Tour Gold-level meet, the NC Classic will be the highest-tier international athletics event ever staged in India.
