According to information from IANS obtained on Wednesday, the players are scheduled to depart for Rashtrapati Bhawan at approximately 10:15 AM, with the official meeting and celebration set for 12 noon.

On the previous evening, the team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, had a planned engagement with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg. During this ceremonial acknowledgement, Modi expressed his congratulations to the team, who were clad in formal attire and adorned with their winner’s medals.

He commended them for their historical accomplishment and recognized their exceptional recovery in the tournament, especially after facing three defeats during the league stage and the subsequent criticism on social media.
