Pinehurst (US), July 23 (NationPress) - Two of India's standout teenage golfers, Mahreen Bhatia and Arshvant Srivastava, are set to spearhead the Indian representation at this week's US Kids World Teen Championship held at the renowned Pinehurst, North Carolina.
The US Kids India team features six talented players competing in this annual global event. This year, the lineup includes two participants in the Boys 15-18 category and four in the Girls 15-18 category, all bringing valuable experience to the tournament both domestically and internationally.
Mahreen, who finished third in the 2024 edition and was the runner-up in 2023, is determined to clinch the top spot this time. Her recent accolades include a victory at the 2024 Shubhankar Sharma Invitationals and a second-place finish at the 2024 Tommy Fleetwood International Pathway Series. Additionally, she triumphed in the FCG Callaway World Juniors in the US last July and secured a place in the Top 5 at the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final.
Arshvant enters this championship with extensive experience from previous US Kids events and boasts two impressive victories on the domestic circuit in 2024 at the NCR Cup Juniors and the Greens to Glory event, alongside a runner-up finish at the US Kids Indian Championship.
This season, he has achieved Top-5 finishes in the US Kids China, US Kids Thailand, and the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, with a seventh-place finish in the US Kids UAE.
