Mumbai, July 24 (NationPress) Shreyanka Patil and Priya Mishra have been officially ruled out from participating in the upcoming India A tour to Australia due to injuries, as confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday.

Their inclusion in the squad was contingent on receiving fitness clearance. The BCCI stated, "Both players are currently under the supervision of the BCCI Medical Team at the Centre of Excellence and are undergoing their Return-to-Play protocols."

Shreyanka has been dealing with injuries for a while. She initially hurt her finger during the Women's Asia Cup in July of the previous year but managed to play in the T20 World Cup held in the UAE that October. Unfortunately, she faced another injury that has kept her out of the 2025 edition of the WPL.

With the absence of both Shreyanka and Priya, Bengal batter Dhara Gujjar and Uttarakhand allrounder Prema Rawat have been called up to the squad for all three formats. Dhara had previously been included in the one-day and four-day squads, while Prema was earlier selected only for the T20s.

Moreover, wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia has been added to the one-day squad. She represented the Mumbai Indians in the WPL 2025 and has recently played in two tour matches against the ECB Development Women's XI.

India’s multi-format tour of Australia is set to kick off with the T20I series in Mackay from August 7 to 10, followed by ODIs in Norths on August 13, 15, and 17. The tour will wrap up with a four-day match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, commencing August 21.

Radha Yadav will captain the team across all formats, with Shafali Verma also included in each squad.
