Midfield dynamo Rodrigo De Paul and team captain Leo Messi were pivotal in leading Inter Miami to triumph this afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium, entertaining a record-breaking crowd of 72,026 D.C. United fans.
Inter Miami surged ahead in the 17th minute when De Paul netted his first goal of the season. Berterame pressured down the left flank and regained possession near the endline before delivering a pass back to Segovia inside the box.
