Jaipur, Dec 15 (NationPress) The Jaipur Polo Team celebrated a remarkable season finale by clinching the Gwalior Cup, achieving a decisive 6.5–3 victory against Mayfair Polo in the championship match. This triumph signifies Jaipur's sixth tournament win this polo season, showcasing the team’s unwavering consistency and supremacy across various competitions.

From the outset, Jaipur Polo took charge, leveraging their handicap advantage and dynamic offensive strategy, concluding the first chukker at 2.5–0. Lance Watson spearheaded the attack with sharp runs and assured finishes, while HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur orchestrated the midfield play, keeping Mayfair Polo on the defensive.

In the second chukker, while Mayfair Polo sought to rally back with Siddhant Sharma scoring their first goal, Jaipur’s steadfast defense and controlled possession maintained their lead at 2.5–1 by halftime.

Jaipur extended their advantage in the third chukker, pushing the score to 4.5–1. Watson continued his scoring streak, aided by crucial input from Dino Dhankar, as the team dictated the match's tempo and neutralized Mayfair Polo’s offensive attempts.
