New Delhi, Aug 15 (NationPress) English goalkeeper James Trafford reflected on his journey back to Manchester City, expressing his long-held belief that he would return to the club due to his relentless efforts. The 22-year-old, who dedicated nearly eight years to City's Academy before his transfer to Turf Moor in 2023, has now signed a five-year contract with the Etihad Stadium, valid until June 2030, after leaving Burnley.
"This is fantastic for me. Since I joined at 12, my ambition has always been to play for Man City. Even when I ventured elsewhere—on loan at 18 or moving to Burnley at 20—I never wavered in my belief that I would return. I’ve put in the hard work to make this moment a reality," Trafford stated on JioHotstar.
