Manchester, July 30 (NationPress) James Trafford expressed his firm belief that he would eventually return to Manchester City after his departure in 2023. The 22-year-old goalkeeper has signed a five-year contract with the club following two seasons at Burnley.
Having been a part of City for eight years starting from the age of 12, Trafford advanced through the youth system and gained essential experience on loan, before securing a permanent transfer to Turf Moor two years ago.
During his time at Burnley, he played a season in the Premier League and delivered an outstanding performance last season, leading to promotion from the Championship. He maintained 29 clean sheets and conceded only 16 goals, earning a spot in the Championship Team of the Year.
