Kakinada, Aug 9 (NationPress) Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh emerged victorious in their respective quarterfinal matches during the 15th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship - Division 'A', securing their places in the semifinals on Saturday.

In the quarterfinals held on Saturday, Haryana triumphed over Odisha with a score of 4-1, while Chhattisgarh Hockey edged out Hockey Madhya Pradesh 2-1. Additionally, Hockey Jharkhand defeated Hockey Punjab 3-1, and Uttar Pradesh Hockey overcame Hockey Maharashtra with a close score of 2-1.

In the opening match of the day, Hockey Haryana celebrated a convincing 4-1 win against Hockey Association of Odisha. They started strong with an early goal from Kajal (2'), followed by a second goal from Supriya (27') in the second quarter.
