Ranchi, July 8 (NationPress) Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chhattisgarh triumphed in their respective matches, while Jharkhand played to a 1-1 draw against Hockey Haryana in a Division ‘A’ encounter during the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women's National Hockey Championship at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
The day's first match featured the Hockey Association of Odisha facing off against Hockey Maharashtra in Division ‘A’, where Odisha claimed a decisive 3-0 victory. Captain Kiro Sanjana (3’) opened the scoring in the first quarter, followed by goals from Priyanka Minz (53’) and Sweety Kujur (58’) to secure the win.
