The Hockey Association of Odisha and Hockey Jharkhand emerged victorious in their respective semi-final contests held on Saturday at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
During the first semi-final, the Hockey Association of Odisha triumphed over Hockey Haryana with a narrow score of 1-0. Sudipa Baa (45’) made her mark by breaking through the robust defense of Hockey Haryana and scoring the pivotal goal that secured a place in the final.
In the second semi-final, Hockey Jharkhand also clinched a 1-0 victory against Hockey Mizoram.
