Chennai, Aug 5 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh have made their way into the semifinals of the 15th Hockey India Sub-jr Men National Championship 2025, held at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium on Tuesday. In the upcoming semifinal matches, Uttar Pradesh Hockey will clash with Hockey Punjab, while Hockey Jharkhand will compete against Hockey Madhya Pradesh.
In the first match of the day, Uttar Pradesh Hockey triumphed with a score of 4–1 against Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey. Ali Shahrukh (6’, 23’) showcased his talent with two goals, while Rajbhar Prahalad (42’) and Mohd. Atif Raynee (58’) also contributed to the score. The captain, Dhiraj Pal (39’), managed to score for the opposing team.
