Ranchi, July 6 (NationPress) On the fourth day of the 15th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2025, Assam Hockey and Hockey Jammu & Kashmir celebrated significant victories in their respective Division ‘C’ matches held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium.
The conclusion of the Division ‘C’ matches saw Hockey Himachal from Pool A and Assam Hockey from Pool B earning their promotion to Division 'B' after leading their respective pools.
Assam Hockey's triumph over Telangana Hockey was bolstered by the outstanding performances of Ritika Tigga (3’, 14’, 58’), Jyoshna Ekka (9, 52’), and captain Roshni Burh (54’). Despite commendable efforts from Anu Kumari (46’) and A Varshitha (22’), Telangana could not change the outcome of the match.
In another Division ‘C’ clash, Goans Hockey initially took the lead with an early goal from Vaydande Bhumika Bhima (5’), but ultimately fell 1-4 to Hockey Jammu & Kashmir. The winning team saw goals from Akshra Dutta (9’, 46’), Kumari Shivani (23’), and Maniksha Devi (59’).
