Guwahati, March 30 (NationPress) Khaleel Ahmed, the pacer for Chennai Super Kings, disclosed his bowling strategy, stating he aims to swing the ball from the appropriate lengths as they prepare for their match against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025 season this Sunday.

Khaleel has been an integral part of CSK's bowling attack, taking four wickets in the first two matches. He recorded impressive figures of 3-29 in their opening game against the Mumbai Indians at Chepauk.

"Adapting to various situations can be challenging, but cricket is fundamentally about concentrating on the right line and length, so I focus on swinging the ball from the right lengths. That’s my strategy; I prefer not to alter it significantly," the pacer explained to broadcasters before the toss.

Khaleel also mentioned that the support from former captain MS Dhoni behind the stumps greatly aids him during matches.

"It's different when Mahi bhai is behind the wickets; it feels like half the job is already done for me," he remarked.

In the match, CSK's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and chose to bowl first against Rajasthan at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

After a victory against the Mumbai Indians, CSK faced a loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their last game.

Conversely, Rajasthan has faced defeats in both their matches so far against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.

CSK's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad announced two changes in the playing eleven as Jamie Overton and Vijay Shankar replaced Sam Curran and Deepak Hooda, while Rajasthan maintained their unchanged lineup.
