Kickstart FC, Sethu FC, and Nita Football Academy produced commanding performances on Day 2 of the AIFF U17 Women's Youth League 2026-27 at the RKM Football Academy in Narainpur, Chhattisgarh, on Sunday, 19 July. The four fixtures produced a combined 19 goals, with only one match finishing in a single-goal margin.

Kickstart FC Demolish DKR Football Academy 7-0

Kickstart FC announced their arrival in Group C with a dominant 7-0 dismantling of DKR Football Academy. The opening goal came in the 23rd minute when the speedy Aysha Mirhana latched onto a loose ball on the right flank, beat two defenders, and slid a low right-footer past goalkeeper Yalamancheli Pragna at the near post.

Aysha doubled the lead nine minutes later, converting a pass from midfielder Cathrine Thanga. Skipper Yashica H then split the DKR defence for winger Divya Choudhary in the 38th minute; Pragna brought down Divya inside the box, and the forward converted the penalty to send Kickstart into the break 3-0 up.

The second half was more of the same. Yashica added a rising right-footer in the 55th minute, Cathrine struck two minutes later from a loose ball, and Yashica completed her brace off a cutback from Avika Deshmukh. Cathrine rounded off the scoring in the 90th minute — her second of the game — after Divya squared from the left, sealing a 7-0 result. Goalkeeper Aparajita was barely tested throughout.

Sethu FC Fly Past MGM Ambush Club 6-0

Sethu FC raced to a 4-0 lead inside the opening 18 minutes against MGM Ambush Club in Group D, eventually cruising to a 6-0 victory. The Madurai side were electric from the first whistle: S Dharshini opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, slamming a rising right-footer into the top corner off a feed from the impressive Nemneihoi Vaiphei.

Kashish doubled the advantage moments later, finishing a cutback from Nemneihoi, then added a third from the top of the box. A flowing move involving Nemneihoi, Kashish, and Nayana sent Dharshini clear; the tall striker dribbled past defender Prachi Porte and placed low into the far corner to make it 4-0.

After the break, substitute Sujitha converted a penalty after Nayana was fouled in the box. Dharshini then set up Nayana with a precise pass on the left, and Nayana finished neatly to complete the 6-0 rout. MGM Ambush's Chhattisgarh-based side showed some thrust after the introduction of the energetic Sharda Ratre, but lacked the support to trouble the Sethu backline.

Nita Football Academy Outclass Mumbai Knights FC 5-0

Nita Football Academy controlled their Group C encounter against Mumbai Knights FC from start to finish, playing a fluid one-touch brand of football. Defender Khundongbam Ambalika was the standout performer, opening the scoring with a curled free-kick after the Knights' Camrynn Fernandes fouled Deepika Kumari on the edge of the box.

Mumbai had a chance just before half-time when Nehchal Kaur Bright pulled a pass back for Saphapaya Lyngdoh, but her volley struck the crossbar. The first half ended 1-0. Nita then scored three goals in a six-minute burst between the 52nd and 58th minutes: Deepika dribbled through to make it 2-0, Ambalika curled a long lob into the top corner from a throw-in, and midfielder Niruta Baraghare capped a surging run past three defenders to slot home a fourth.

Deepika completed the scoring in the 74th minute with another solo effort, rounding off a 5-0 win. The midfield trio of Niruta, Maanya Gurumayum, and Anchal Singh drove the tempo throughout.

HOPS FC Edge Krida Prabodhini Pune 1-0

The day's final fixture was the tightest, with HOPS FC defeating Krida Prabodhini Pune 1-0. Attacker Divya settled the contest, latching onto a long ball, darting into the box from the right, and slotting past goalkeeper Shivika Shetty. Once ahead, the Delhi side defended resolutely, with goalkeeper Sonam barely called into action. Captain Kanika and Kafi worked hard in midfield to maintain shape, though HOPS were guilty of falling offside on several promising attacks.

All 16 teams have now played at least one match in the AIFF U17 Women's Youth League 2026-27. The tournament continues at the RKM Football Academy in Narainpur, with the group-stage results shaping up to produce competitive knockout-round matchups in the days ahead.
