Kolkata, Feb 12 (NationPress) The reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have introduced a groundbreaking Trophy Tour as they gear up for the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Having clinched their third IPL title last year, following victories in 2012 and 2014, KKR aims to celebrate this achievement with their fans.
This tour will see the prestigious trophy traveling to various cities across India, fostering a deeper connection with the team’s dedicated fanbase. This is the inaugural occasion where an IPL team is organizing a Trophy Tour beyond its home city.
The franchise stated, "This initiative is designed to provide KKR fans nationwide an opportunity to engage with the trophy and celebrate their favorite team's success. The extensive tour will span nine cities, commencing on February 14 in Guwahati and concluding back in the City of Joy, Kolkata, by March 16."
The tour will include stops in cities such as Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Gangtok, Siliguri, Patna, Durgapur, and Kolkata.
