Slow Start, Quick Recovery

Chahal eventually had the last word, dismissing Kohli on the final ball of that over — the batter miscuing to deep mid-wicket after a well-made 58 off 37 deliveries, inclusive of four fours and three sixes.

With Kohli gone, Iyer shifted into overdrive alongside Tim David. He completed his half-century in just 29 balls and punished Ferguson relentlessly in the death overs, exploiting poor lengths on both sides of the wicket. Iyer finished unbeaten on 73 off 40 balls, hitting eight fours and four sixes. David chipped in with a vital cameo of 28 off 12 deliveries, helping RCB cross the 220-run mark.
