New Delhi, Feb 14 (NationPress) Indian cricketer and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star, Virat Kohli, has sent his warmest wishes to the women's team of the franchise ahead of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season.
Led by Smriti Mandhana, the team enters the tournament as the reigning champions and will kick off their campaign against the Gujarat Giants in Vadodara on Friday.
In a video released by RCB on X, Kohli encouraged the team to maintain their momentum this season and to fully express themselves on the field.

On Thursday, RCB appointed Rajat Patidar as the captain of their men's team for the IPL 2025 season. Kohli, the former captain of RCB, endorsed Patidar’s selection and acknowledged that he has earned this position.
