New Delhi, July 7 (NationPress) The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced the Indian teams for upcoming international events, including the senior squad for the 16th Asian Shooting Championship (ASC) Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, set to take place in Shymkent, Kazakhstan from August 16 to 30.
Other squads unveiled include those for the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Ningbo, China, between September 7 to 17 and the junior Indian teams for the 16th ASC as well as the ISSF Junior World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, scheduled in New Delhi from September 24 to October 2.
The ASC senior squad consists of 35 members competing in 15 events, including three mixed team competitions. The double Olympic bronze medallist Manu Bhaker stands out as the only athlete qualified for two individual events: the women’s 10m air pistol and the women’s 25m pistol events.
