Manchester, Jan 23 (NationPress) Manchester City have secured the services of Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt, signing him to a four-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029, as announced by the Premier League side on Thursday.
The 25-year-old is among the most sought-after young forwards in Europe, showcasing versatility by effectively playing on either attacking flank.
A well-rounded Egyptian international with 35 caps to his credit, Marmoush began his professional journey in his home country at the age of 17, debuting in 2016 with Wadi Degla.
After recording 17 appearances and two goals for Wadi, he made his way to Europe in 2017, joining VfL Wolfsburg and later transferring to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.
He experienced an excellent debut season with the Bundesliga club, scoring 17 goals in 41 matches across all competitions.
Marmoush has continued to impress in the ongoing 2024/25 season, netting 20 goals in just 26 appearances for Frankfurt, complemented by 14 assists.
