With these assists, Messi's international assist total has reached 60, eclipsing both Neymar and Landon Donovan, who each stand at 58. This remarkable feat also brings Messi closer to 400 assists across his entire professional career, as he now sits just three assists away.

Argentina seized control of the match early on, though Puerto Rico initially surprised with a shot from Antonetti that was brilliantly saved by Emiliano Martinez with a spectacular backflip, igniting excitement among the fans.
