New Delhi, Nov 27 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the victorious Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team, champions of the inaugural T20 World Cup, at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg on Wednesday.

The Indian team etched their name in history by clinching the first-ever Blind Women's T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka, triumphing over Nepal by seven wickets in the final match.

During the event, the PM was presented with the World Cup trophy, accompanied by all players and coaching staff. He was seen engaging with the team's captain, Deepika, and other players, even personally offering them sweets.
