Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh stated on Tuesday that comprehensive security and traffic management plans have been instituted for the cricket matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium, starting March 28, with an additional match on April 5.
During a press briefing, the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner emphasized that these arrangements were made following committee guidelines to ensure safety and the seamless operation of the cricket matches.
He highlighted the importance of public cooperation, noting that only attendees with valid digital tickets will be allowed entry into the stadium.
Commissioner Singh cautioned that individuals without tickets will not be permitted to congregate in and around the venue.
"We all need to take responsibility. Spectators should arrive punctually, and entry will be granted only to those with valid tickets," he stated.
The police have organized parking, including paid facilities that can be accessed when purchasing match tickets.
The public is encouraged to utilize Metro services, with integrated ticketing options available.
