Chennai, Dec 28 (NationPress) In a thrilling conclusion to the MMSC fmsci Indian National Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship 2025, Hanuman Pawshe from Mumbai, representing Fast Track Racing India, claimed the title in the prestigious Unrestricted class. This victory came after the defending champion Hemanth Muddappa from Mantra Racing faced penalties for a jump start during the final run at the Madras International Circuit.

Entering the decisive fourth round with both riders locked at 55 points, Pawshe's teammate Alimon Saidalvi followed closely, trailing by just two points. As the final run unfolded, Muddappa's jump start handed the championship to Pawshe, with Saidalvi finishing in second place and Muddappa taking third.

Despite the setback in the Unrestricted class, Muddappa salvaged his day by winning titles in two additional categories, bringing his total National title count to 17. A fourth-place finish in the Super Sport 4-Stroke 1051-1650cc class secured him the title, outperforming Round-4 winner Mujahid Pasha from Fast Track Racing India.
