Babu, an ardent fan, mentor, and content creator from Alappuzha, Kerala; the Lao family, a father-daughter duo from Kolkata’s Indo-Chinese community; and Farooque Shaikh, a committed mentor from Mumbai’s Nagpada area.

According to Rajah Chaudhry, NBA Asia Head of Strategy and NBA India Country Head, “Hoop Nation season two embodies the spirit of basketball in India – a game that unites, inspires, and drives change.”

This season introduces a new wave of Indian hip-hop artists enhancing the narrative: Straight Outta Srinagar (SOS), a dynamic duo leading Kashmir’s underground music scene; ThirumaLi, a prominent figure in the Malayalam hip-hop circuit; EPR Iyer, a veteran voice from Kolkata and a trailblazer in the Indian hip-hop scene; and QK, an emerging talent from Mumbai recognized for her innovative blend of rapping and singing.
