Muscat, Dec 30 (NationPress) Jatinder Singh has been appointed as the captain of Oman once more, as the team unveils its 15-member roster for the T20 World Cup 2026, which commences on February 7.

Assisting him will be wicketkeeper-batter Vinayak Shukla, who has been named vice-captain, while the squad sees five alterations from the team that participated in the Asia Cup earlier this year.

Having missed out on the last T20 World Cup selection, Jatinder stands out as Oman's most seasoned player and the leading run-scorer in T20 format.

This event marks Oman's fourth appearance at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. They find themselves in Group B alongside Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Zimbabwe.
