After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Aniruddha Choudhari and Satyam Bhoyar opened the batting for the Nagpur Titans. Bhoyar was dismissed without scoring, while Choudhari managed to contribute 20 runs from 18 balls.
Following the loss of the second wicket at 5.2 overs, Skipper Jagjot Sasan came to the crease alongside Shubham Dubey. Together, they forged a partnership worth 49 runs for the third wicket before Sasan fell for 34 runs off 30 balls. Dubey went on to achieve his half-century, scoring 52 runs from 38 balls.
