New Delhi, Oct 29 (NationPress) The Puneri Paltan secured their spot in the final of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 12 after a stunning comeback, triumphing 50-45 against the Telugu Titans at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday. This marks their third final appearance in four years for the reigning champions of Season 10, where they are set to clash with Dabang Delhi K.C. on Friday.

The match showcased an electrifying performance from the raiders, with Aditya Shinde scoring 21 points and Pankaj Mohite adding 10 points, both achieving Super 10s. Despite Bharat Hooda’s 22 points and Vijay Malik’s 10 points, the Titans fell short.

Aslam Inamdar initiated the scoring for the Paltan, followed closely by Bharat Hooda for the Titans. The Titans quickly asserted their dominance with effective tackles from Ankit and Chetan Sahu. With only three Paltan players on the mat, Bharat Hooda’s remarkable Super Raid led to the first All Out, giving the Titans a commanding 10-1 lead.

Nevertheless, Puneri Paltan responded rapidly, with Pankaj Mohite leading a series of successful raids, and Mohd Amaan contributing with a crucial tackle. Ankit's Super Tackle kept the Titans ahead by six points, holding a 13-7 lead after the opening ten minutes, despite efforts from Aslam and Aditya Shinde.

The intensity peaked as both teams launched aggressive raids. Pankaj maintained his momentum, enabling the Paltan to execute their first All Out, narrowing the gap to just four points. Bharat Hooda clinched his Super 10 with 14 points in the first half, while Pankaj and Aditya combined for 13 points, ending the half at 24-20 in favor of the Titans.

As the second half commenced, Puneri Paltan delivered a second All Out, thanks to a tackle from Gaurav Khatri. Despite the Titans holding a slim lead, Bharat and Vijay ensured their team stayed ahead. The game became a fierce battle of Do-Or-Die Raids.

In a thrilling turn, Puneri Paltan leveled the score with Aditya and Pankaj completing their Super 10s. With the clock winding down, both teams were tied at 33-33. The Titans briefly regained the lead with a Super Tackle from Shankar Gadai, but Aditya kept the Paltan competitive.

Captain Aslam Inamdar, having a quieter night, made a pivotal tackle, executing a third All Out on the Titans. For the first time, the Paltan took a narrow lead with five minutes remaining.

The decisive moment came from Aditya Shinde, who executed a remarkable four-point Super Raid, giving the Paltan significant control. They followed this with another All Out, establishing a seven-point lead with under two minutes left. As the match drew to a close, the Paltan managed an impressive nine-point comeback, sealing a 50-45 victory and advancing to the final.
