Noida, Nov 30 (NationPress) The Jaipur Pink Panthers showcased an electrifying performance in kabaddi on Saturday at the Noida Indoor Stadium during PKL Season 11. Although the Jaipur Pink Panthers fell behind for much of the first half, they made a remarkable comeback to clinch a 41-28 victory against the Telugu Titans.
Throughout the match, Arjun Deshwal of the Jaipur Pink Panthers reached the milestone of 1100 raid points, also executing a Super 10 in conjunction with Neeraj Narwal. On the opposing side, Vijay Malik finished the game with 17 points.
Both teams commenced the match with caution, taking their time to establish momentum. The Telugu Titans showcased a strong defense in the early moments. Vijay Malik executed a two-point raid, giving the Titans a four-point advantage. However, quick raids from Neeraj Narwal brought the Jaipur Pink Panthers closer to their opponents.
About nine minutes into the match, Arjun Deshwal secured his first point, marking the achievement of 1100 raid points. He became the second youngest player to reach this significant milestone.
As the first half progressed, the momentum and lead remained with the Telugu Titans as Vijay Malik spearheaded the efforts, achieving his Super 10 before the half-time break.
With two minutes remaining, the Jaipur Pink Panthers executed an All Out, leveling the score. The half-time score stood at 18-18.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers emerged from the break with greater intensity, establishing a slim three-point lead early in the half. Arjun Deshwal registered his Super 10 in the 27th minute, shortly followed by another All Out from the Jaipur Pink Panthers. This put the Telugu Titans at a five-point disadvantage with around 12 minutes left in the match.
Nevertheless, the Telugu Titans fought back, narrowing the gap to just two points. While Vijay Malik was quickly accumulating points for the Titans, Reza Mirbagheri and Surjeet Singh stood strong in defense for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. A decisive three-point raid from Neeraj Narwal completed his Super 10, extending the Jaipur Pink Panthers' lead to 12 points.
Ultimately, the Jaipur Pink Panthers concluded the match with a significant win, propelled by a phenomenal comeback in the second half.
