Pune, Dec 12 (NationPress) In a thrilling encounter, the Bengal Warriorz and UP Yoddhas played to a draw in the 11th tie of Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), finishing at 31-31 at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex on Thursday. A remarkable Super 10 from Pranay Rane and a High 5 from Nitesh Kumar allowed their team to earn three points, while Gagan Gowda also achieved a Super 10 for UP Yoddhas.

The UP Yoddhas started strong with Gowda scoring the initial points, and Bhavani Rajput executing a Super Raid that set the pace for the match. In response, Bengal Warriorz's Siddhesh Tatkare showcased a Super Tackle to equalize after a rapid start. The action-packed exchanges continued with Gagan Gowda making another significant contribution through a Super Raid to regain the lead for his side.

As the intensity heightened, Pranay Rane performed a two-point raid to keep Bengal Warriorz within reach. Despite their efforts, UP Yoddhas maintained a slight advantage in the first 10 minutes. Notably, Bhavani Rajput surpassed 100 raid points for the season, becoming a pivotal raider alongside Gowda.

Hitesh also reached 50 tackle points for the season, helping UP Yoddhas maintain their narrow lead. Nitesh Kumar made a crucial tackle on Bhavani Rajput during a do-or-die raid, narrowing the gap to just one point. His defensive skills ensured Bengal Warriorz stayed competitive throughout a high-energy first half, which concluded at 15-13.

The second half began with a slower pace as both teams adopted a do-or-die strategy. Fazel Atrachali logged his first tackle of the match, and Manjeet evened the score at 16-all within five minutes. Yet, Dabang Delhi K.C. regained their lead thanks to a Super Tackle by Hitesh, achieving his High 5.

Bhavani Rajput successfully executed a do-or-die raid before Pranay Rane answered with a two-point raid, keeping the scores level. Nitesh Kumar completed his Hi-5 with an impressive tackle rate. Fazel Atrachali followed suit with a tackle of his own, leading to an All Out by Bengal Warriorz, who took the lead for the first time that night.

However, UP Yoddhas surged back ahead with a Super Raid by Gowda, who completed his Super 10. Pranay Rane continued to battle alone for Bengal Warriorz, also earning a Super 10. As the match approached its conclusion, UP Yoddhas held a three-point advantage.

Fazel Atrachali executed a brilliant Super Tackle, and Vishwas S. made a late contribution, helping Bengal Warriorz level the score at 30-30 with less than a minute remaining.

After an exhilarating 40 minutes, both teams finished on equal terms at 31-31. Consequently, UP Yoddhas retained fourth place on the points table, while Bengal Warriorz will rely on other results to remain in playoff contention.
