Kozhikode, June 8 (NationPress) Jerome Vinith C caught the attention of many at the Prime Volleyball League (PVL) Season 4 auction held in Kozhikode on Sunday, becoming one of the priciest selections in the platinum tier after being acquired by the Chennai Blitz. The local team, Calicut Heroes, secured the services of regional player Shameemudheen for Rs 22.5 lakh, while Kochi Blue Spikers bought Vinit Kumar for the same amount.
Following an intense bidding competition among the Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes, and Kolkata Thunder Bolts, Vinit, a former player for Calicut Heroes, was acquired by Chennai for Rs 22.5 lakh.
