Hyderabad, April 13 (NationPress) The Rajasthan Royals made a strategic decision by winning the toss and opting to bowl first against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday. The team brought in left-handed batter Lhuan-dre Pretorius and right-arm fast bowler Tushar Deshpande for the match.
As inaugural champions, the Royals come into this match with a perfect record, having won all four of their previous games. In contrast, the Sunrisers, victors of IPL 2016, return to their home ground after suffering a six-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings in New Chandigarh.
Deshpande takes the place of Brijesh Sharma, while Pretorius steps in as Shimron Hetmyer is rested. “We have a new wicket to work with, the first time it's been used this season, and we hope it has some stickiness early on.
