He emerged as the top run-scorer, accumulating 383 runs across seven matches (six innings) at an average of 76.60, which included two centuries and two half-centuries.
The right-handed batsman had an exceptional tournament, achieving a strike rate of 160.25 and surpassing Virat Kohli's long-standing record for the most runs in a single edition of the T20 World Cup.
