Meanwhile, the women’s doubles duo of Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly also secured their place in the final of the Syed Modi International Super 300 tournament.

Srikanth secured his victory with a score of 21-15, 19-21, 21-13 in a match lasting 59 minutes. He is set to face Hong Kong's Jason Gunawan, who reached the final after Minoru Koga from Japan retired with a score of 12-21, 21-8, 11-0.

In the women’s doubles, the top seeds and reigning champions, Gayatri and Treesa, overcame the seventh seeds, Ong Xin Yee and Carmen Ting of Malaysia, with a score of 21-11, 21-15, setting up a showdown against Japan’s Kaho Osawa and Mai Tanabe.
