Bengaluru, Nov 2 (NationPress) Karnataka’s 13-year-old tennis sensation Srishti Kiran has continued to impress on the international junior tennis scene, securing three titles within just two weeks in the Dominican Republic.

During the week of October 20, she triumphed in the singles category at the ITF J30 Cabarete, and followed that achievement by winning both the singles and doubles titles the following week.

Srishti's remarkable streak saw her win every match in straight sets at both tournaments. She overcame Argentina’s second seed, Milagros Belen Laino, with a score of 6-0, 6-3 in the semifinals, before dominating the singles finals against Canada’s seventh seed Camille Michel with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Exhibiting exceptional skill, Srishti also teamed up with Briana Houlgrave from the Bahamas to secure the doubles title, defeating the British pair of Jessica Morrison and Ava Moss in the final.

The duo displayed impressive teamwork and aggressive net strategies to clinch the championship, culminating a remarkable two-week period in the Caribbean.

Srishti has built a solid foundation back in Bengaluru before transitioning to the RPS Academy in Florida, where she is honing her skills while managing her studies alongside a rigorous training regimen. She gained recognition after remaining undefeated while representing India in the ATF U-12 Girls’ Team Championship Finals in August 2023. Her coaches at KSLTA attribute her success to her dedicated training and an unyielding competitive spirit. “Every training session brings me closer to fulfilling my dream of making India proud on the global tennis stage,” states Srishti.

Looking forward, Srishti aims to excel at the Junior Orange Bowl and the IMG Academy International Tennis Championships in Florida later this year, two esteemed events that will challenge and refine her skills against some of the top junior players worldwide.
