Karnal (Haryana), Nov 22 (NationPress) Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) and HAR Hockey Academy have secured their spots in the finals of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-junior Women Academy Championship 2025 for Zone A & B, held at the Kailash Hockey Stadium in Karnal, Haryana, on Saturday.
The Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) achieved a thrilling 2-1 victory over Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat, to advance to the finals. Laxmi was the standout player, scoring two goals at the 10th and 32nd minutes, while Diya found the net for Pritam Siwach at the 6th minute.
On the other hand, HAR Hockey Academy displayed an extraordinary performance, winning 16-0 against Sports Hockey Academy from Kolkata in the second semifinal. Vishakha (7’, 14’, 16’, 43’), Antika (22’, 45’, 54’, 60’), and captain Radhika (21’, 49’, 58’) each netted four goals. Contributions also came from Jyoti (13’), Himanshi (27’), and Anjali (28’, 52’).
