Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan has ascended to fourth place with another impressive performance.

Farhan etched his name in the record books by becoming the first player to score two centuries in a single ICC Men's T20 World Cup, notching a remarkable hundred against Sri Lanka in Pallekele. This exceptional display has propelled him to second place in the T20I batting rankings, marking a new career-high rating.

Abhishek currently holds a lead of 26 points over Farhan at the top of the batter rankings. The Pakistani opener has surpassed England's Phil Salt and reduced the gap with his Indian counterpart after accumulating 383 runs during the T20 World Cup.

The latest rankings reflect notable shifts following the Super Eights stage of the T20 World Cup. India’s Ishan Kishan has climbed to fourth, while Tilak Varma has moved up to sixth among T20I batters. Additionally, South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has gained a position, now ranked eighth.

Zimbabwe's standout player Brian Bennett has surged six spots to 11th, amassing 292 runs throughout the tournament. Concurrently, South African players Ryan Rickelton has advanced two positions to 13th, and Aiden Markram has climbed four spots to 16th, showcasing their growth in the rankings.

In the T20I bowler rankings, Varun Chakravarthy from India sees his lead narrow to just 18 rating points as the knockout stage of the T20 World Cup approaches.

Chakravarthy has taken 12 wickets thus far and maintains a slim advantage at the top of the rankings. In contrast, Abrar Ahmed from Pakistan has moved up two spots to third place, closing the margin.

India's bowling lineup celebrates the rise of Jasprit Bumrah, who has moved up one spot to seventh, while Arshdeep Singh has jumped six places to 13th. England’s Liam Dawson has made a significant move, climbing nine positions to tie for 14th, and South Africa's Lungi Ngidi improves by six spots to reach 20th.

Another remarkable rise among T20I all-rounders is veteran Jason Holder from the West Indies, who has ascended eight spots to reach 11th following a stellar T20 World Cup performance with both bat and ball.
