New Delhi, Oct 21 (NationPress) Former Pro Kabaddi League star Rahul Chaudhari, who was observing the match from the stands instead of participating, has made a daring prediction that his former team, Telugu Titans, will seize the PKL 12 title and "forge some new history".

"It feels amazing. In the past, we played, and now we have the opportunity to watch," Chaudhari stated, clearly thrilled to return to a PKL venue. "This is part of life – first, you play and relish the applause directed at you, and now I have the chance to observe."

The evening was particularly meaningful for Chaudhari as his old team, Telugu Titans, took to the field. "My favorite team is playing today, the one that propelled me to fame – Telugu Titans. I wish for my team to emerge victorious," he expressed.

Chaudhari was notably impressed with the Telugu Titans’ performance this season. "After facing challenges in the initial matches, the entire team and management handled it remarkably. Now, Telugu Titans are in a strong position," he noted. "Everyone is performing well – Vijay Malik, Ashish Narwal, Bharat Hooda – the whole squad is excelling."

The new playoff structure, which allows eight teams to qualify instead of six, has heightened the competition. "Previously, six teams qualified, but now eight will, meaning only four teams will remain at the bottom instead of six. This change has significantly increased competition," Chaudhari elaborated.

Reflecting on his experience until Season 10, he made a compelling remark. "I’ve never witnessed so many nail-biting matches as this season. The standard of kabaddi has risen dramatically, with young talent coming in at an exceptional level."

Among the rising stars, Chaudhari pointed out several names. "Devank has proven over the last two seasons that he could become the league’s leading raider. Ayan is also quite impressive."

Making his prediction, Chaudhari stated, "In the race between the rabbit and the tortoise, I believe the tortoise will prevail. Teams like Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi are racing ahead, but steadily, Telugu Titans have risen from the bottom to third place. I foresee Telugu Titans playing in the final and creating some new history."
