Mumbai, Nov 4 (NationPress) Young athletes from the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Sport Climbing Academy have brought honor to India by securing six medals at the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship 2025, which took place in Pune from November 1 to 4.

This championship featured two age divisions (U-13 and U-15) and incorporated all three climbing disciplines: Lead, Speed, and Boulder.

The event attracted competitors from 13 nations, including India, South Korea, Hong Kong China, Japan, Thailand, Jordan, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, and China.

A total of 12 climbers from the TSAF Sport Climbing Academy represented India in this prestigious event. The champions were Sudharshan Murmu (Youth C Speed Boys) and Akash Soren (Youth D Speed Boys), who each took home gold medals.
