New Delhi, Oct 27 (NationPress) On Monday, Sussex Cricket proudly revealed that their captain, Tymal Mills, has officially signed a one-year contract extension. This new agreement ensures that the T20 World Cup champion will remain with Sussex through at least the conclusion of the 2027 season.

With over a decade of dedication to Sussex, Mills has become one of the most accomplished T20 bowlers in cricket history. In 2023, he reached a significant milestone by becoming Sussex’s all-time leading wicket-taker in T20 formats, surpassing Will Beer.

Following this achievement, he was appointed as the T20 captain. Under his guidance, Sussex enjoyed a thrilling journey to the T20 Finals Day, dominating the South Group and securing a convincing victory against Lancashire in a packed quarter-final at Hove.
