In their recent encounter on Tuesday, UP triumphed over Rajasthan with a score of 10-4, winning three out of five matches, with Rajasthan securing one victory and the final match ending in a tie. UP's winning players included Shaurya Bhattacharya and Arjun Prasad in Singles, along with Joshua Seale and Pranav Mardikar in Foursomes.
Captain of the UP Prometheans, Shaurya Bhattacharya, expressed, “It was incredibly thrilling as it came down to the wire. We managed to secure our three matches early on, which put us in a strong position for the finals. The comeback by Manoj and Abhinav Lohan, being three down with three holes to play and ultimately halving their match, was truly remarkable. It showcased our resilience and determination to reach the finals.”
