Noida, Nov 29 (NationPress) The Puneri Paltan showcased an unforgettable performance in a fiercely contested match against the Gujarat Giants during Season 11, rising to the third position in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) standings. The defending champions clinched victory in the final moments, ending the game with a score of 34-33 at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Friday.
Captain Akash Shinde was instrumental for the Puneri Paltan, scoring 12 points, while teammates Dadaso Pujari (4 points) and Aryavardhan Navale (2 points) also contributed significantly. On the other hand, Guman Singh emerged as the top scorer for the Gujarat Giants with 16 points.
Guman Singh initiated the match with a remarkable four-point raid, giving the Gujarat Giants an early advantage over the Puneri Paltan. The defending champions faced pressure in the opening minutes, but Akash Shinde played a crucial role in helping them rally.
