Milan, Jan 25 (NationPress) Captain of Manchester City, Kyle Walker, has successfully completed a loan transfer to the renowned Italian club, AC Milan, where he will remain for the remainder of the season. Commenting on his transition to Serie A, the defender expressed that he is truly honored to join the prestigious Italian team.
The England international underwent a thorough medical examination with the seven-time European Cup champions on Thursday, finalizing the agreement. This contract includes an option for Milan to permanently sign the 34-year-old defender at the end of the season.
Having won the Premier League six times with City, Walker now joins fellow English compatriots Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Tammy Abraham at the San Siro. He will don the number 32 jersey and might make his debut this Sunday as Milan takes on Parma in Serie A.
