Pune, Feb 17 (NationPress) In a thrilling start to Round One of the fourth leg of the Women's Pro Golf Tour 2026 at the Poona Club Golf Course, Tvesa Malik showcased her skills with three birdies in the last four holes, while Ridhima Dilawari dazzled with five birdies on her front nine. Both players finished the day tied at 3-under 68, sharing the lead.

In the spotlight of this elite group, Vani Kapoor followed closely with a score of 69, just one stroke off the pace, while amateur Anuradha Chaudhary scored 70, becoming the only other player to achieve an under-par performance, placing fourth.

Tvesa, who celebrated a playoff victory last week in Pune, recorded one bogey and one birdie on her front nine, while Ridhima raced ahead with five birdies. Ridhima momentarily reached 6-under before encountering a setback, dropping a shot on the 11th hole, although she recovered with another birdie on the 14th, tallying her seventh birdie of the day, before facing a double bogey on the 15th and a closing bogey for a total of 68.
