The afternoon session was electrifying, witnessing the breaking of four National Games records, which included three individual achievements and one men's 4x100m relay record.
The day kicked off with Aishwarya Mishra from Maharashtra capturing attention as she shattered her own National Games record in the women's 400m event. Mishra completed the race in a remarkable 51.12 seconds, surpassing her previous record of 52.50 seconds established in 2022. She expressed her astonishment at the outcome, mentioning that her goal was to finish under 53 seconds, yet she never anticipated such a speedy performance this early in the season.
