New Delhi, March 17 (NationPress) A total of 50,088 public grievances were addressed by states and Union Territories in February this year. The current backlog of such cases on the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) portal is 1,90,994 grievances, as per the monthly report issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) on Monday.

The report further indicates that 47,599 new users registered in February, with the highest number of registrations, 7,312, occurring in Uttar Pradesh, which is the largest state in the country.

Additionally, the report provides a detailed state-wise breakdown of grievances submitted through Common Service Centres (CSCs) in February 2025.

CPGRAMS is now integrated with the CSC portal and can be accessed at over 5 lakh CSCs, collaborating with 2.5 lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs.

In February 2025, 5,580 grievances were submitted via CSCs, with the most grievances reported from Uttar Pradesh (1,697) followed by Punjab (838). The report highlights the key issues/categories for which the maximum grievances were filed through CSCs.

Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of grievances in February 2025, totaling 21,763 grievances.

A total of 12 states and Union Territories received more than 1,000 grievances during the month.

Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat resolved the highest number of grievances in February 2025, with totals of 21,511 and 2,916 grievances respectively.

There are 13 states and UTs that resolved over 1,000 grievances in February.

The report also covers the status of funds released under the Sevottam Scheme for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24.

In the past three fiscal years (2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25), 756 training courses have been conducted, training approximately 24,942 officers.

An example of a resolved case in February includes the grievance of street vendor Sudhanshu Sharma, whose incorrect bank details had delayed an application for a Rs 10,000 loan under the PM-SVANidhi Scheme. This loan has now been approved.
