Hyderabad, Dec 8 (NationPress) The Adani Group has made a substantial investment of Rs 10,000 crores in Telangana over the past three years and is eager to embark on additional projects in the region, as stated by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), on Monday.
While speaking at the Telangana Rising Global Summit at the forthcoming Bharat Future City near Hyderabad, he highlighted that the Adani Group's investments have focused on building infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities, which have generated employment for over 7,000 individuals.
According to Karan Adani, the event underscores the ambition and confidence with which Telangana is shaping its future.
He remarked, "Under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Revanth Reddy, Telangana is witnessing a clarity of vision and determination that is uncommon in Indian public life. Your emphasis on transparent governance, swift decision-making, and long-term economic strategies has fostered an environment where businesses like ours can think ambitiously and invest confidently."

Karan Adani acknowledged that in recent years, the Adani Group has built a robust and expanding partnership with Telangana. "In alignment with our previous commitments, we have launched investments in diverse sectors including defence manufacturing, green data centres, renewable energy projects, and cement manufacturing facilities throughout the state," he noted.
He emphasized that, in support of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Adani Group has established a state-of-the-art defence and aerospace park in Hyderabad. "This facility is the first in the nation for manufacturing long-endurance UAVs. The UAVs produced here serve both the Indian armed forces and the international market, currently providing direct employment to over 1,500 youth and supporting numerous additional livelihoods in the surrounding ecosystem."
He revealed that concerning digital infrastructure, the Adani Group is investing Rs 2,500 crore to set up a 48 megawatt green data centre in Telangana. This facility will be at the forefront of advanced AI, cloud technology, and high-performance computing, playing a vital role in fulfilling the demands of a rapidly digitizing India.
He pointed out that in recent years, Telangana has experienced significant growth in both capital and logistics infrastructure.
"The Adani Group has been pivotal in constructing road infrastructure that connects various regions of the state, enhancing logistics efficiency and positioning Telangana as a key logistics hub. With a total investment of Rs 4,000 crore in road development, the Adani Group has constructed over 100 km of highways linking critical districts such as Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad, and Khammam," he stated.
Furthermore, he disclosed that to support Telangana's rapid infrastructure development, Adani Cements has invested Rs 2,000 crore in establishing advanced cement manufacturing facilities with a combined capacity of seven million tonnes per annum.
