He captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to the one who’s been my greatest supporter, protector, and best friend. You’ve always been there for me, believed in me, and defended me in ways I can't articulate. Enjoy your special day… love you forever.”
Ahan and Athiya are the offspring of film star Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty. Both siblings have made their marks in acting; Athiya debuted in Hero in 2015, while Ahan starred in Tadap in 2021.
Upcoming, Ahan will feature in ‘Border 2’, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, with co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi.
Directed by Anurag Singh, ‘Border 2’ includes prominent actors like Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh.
This film serves as a sequel to the 1997 war drama ‘Border’ and is said to focus on the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan.
While the first ‘Border’ film depicted the Battle of Longewala, ‘Border 2’ will likely center on the Kargil conflict, which saw Pakistani forces infiltrating Indian territory primarily in the Kargil district during early 1999.
Ahan is also set to star in an untitled Indian horror project based on a real-life tragedy, crafted by Patrick Graham, who is making his return to Hindi horror. This film, supported by Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment and Prashant Gunjalkar, promises to blend horror and romance around a historical event. Casting for the female lead is currently ongoing, with the title and director still to be revealed.
