During the grand finale of the reality show "Bigg Boss 19" on Sunday, Salman, who shared a close bond with Dharmendra and visited him in the hospital, became emotional while reminiscing about the legendary actor.
With tears in his eyes, Salman shared, "Dharmendra departed on November 24, coinciding with my father Salim Khan's 90th birthday."
"He was the He-Man of Bollywood, possessing an innocent visage paired with a He-Man's physique, and a legacy spanning over 60 years," he continued. Salman further expressed his emotions, noting that Dharmendra's birthday falls on December 8, the same day as his mother's. He also praised the respectful manner in which Dharmendra's funeral was conducted, stating, "I have witnessed only two funerals conducted with such dignity; one was that of director Sooraj Barjatya's mother, and the other was Dharamji's. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and the entire Dharmendra ji family held the prayer gatherings with immense dignity, love, and grace. It was heartwarming to see so many individuals honoring his life with such affection," he concluded.
