Mumbai, Oct 8 (NationPress) Actor Akshay Kumar revealed that Priyadarshan's "Haiwaan" has astonished him in numerous ways.
As he approached the final schedule of his eagerly awaited project, Akshay shared a video of himself with a piercing look, posing next to a car.
Clad in black, he appeared dashing with his bearded look.
Reflecting on his journey with "Haiwaan", Akshay wrote on his official Instagram, "Last schedule of #Haiwaan…what a journey it’s been. This character has pushed, shaped, and surprised me in so many ways. (sic)"
Expressing gratitude to his director Priyadarshan and co-star Saif Ali Khan, Akshay continued, "Forever grateful to Priyan Sir, your sets feel like home. And Saif, thank you for the laughter, ease, and all those effortless moments on screen."
Since the project commenced in August this year, Akshay had previously taken to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes clip of himself and Saif engaging in casual conversation with director Priyadarshan.
He captioned it, “Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan… Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan :)) Starting the shoot for #Haiwaan today with my absolute favourite captain of the ship, @priyadarshan.official Sir. This film signifies the reunion of Akshay and Saif on-screen after a lengthy gap of 17 years.
They have previously collaborated on films including "Main Khiladi Tu Anari" (1994), "Yeh Dillagi" (1994), which also featured Kajol, "Aarzoo" (1999), and "Tashan" (2008).
Besides "Haiwaan", Akshay is also teaming up with Priyadarshan for the upcoming horror-comedy "Bhoot Bangla".
Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the Balaji Telefilms banner, in collaboration with Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, the screenplay is penned by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan.
With Akshay Kumar leading the cast, the film also features Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Govardhan Asrani in prominent roles, among others.
